Two Oaks Adopt-an-Animal - Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Will I be able to visit my pony and how often?

Yes, of course! You can visit your chosen animal/animals on any open day, and weekends when the sanctuary is open

Question: What will the money I pay go towards?

Your generous donation will be spent on feed, bedding, veterinary care, farrier bills and any other associated expense with the animals. No donation is ever used for personal gain.

Question: What will I get for my money?

A certificate of adoption, a photo of your adopted friend, and a plaque on the stable door of your chosen animal.

Question: What happens if I want to stop payment? Can I stop the adoption at any time?

Donations are paid in full for a year, of course we would love continuous donations, however if you cannot sponsor your animal next year, there are no pushy sales calls or texts.

Question: What is the difference between an adoption fee and a donation?

The adoption fee can be paid as a lump sum.

Question: If this is a gift, can the membership pack be sent to the recipient of the gift?

Yes, just complete the details of the person receiving the adoption membership on the lower section

of the Adopt-an-Animal form

Question: Can we add a specific start date if it’s for a birthday present or special occasion?

Yes, please state this in the ‘special instructions’ section of the adoption form.
